Westport Residence

Westport, Connecticut

The landscape lacked cohesion, and access for maximum usability. Neighboring properties loomed over the space detracting from the privacy of the owners. Designs sought to define spaces, pathways, and establish naturalized planting areas. The existing upper patio of poorly defined stones was where the couple shared their wedding vows. Fieldstone retaining seatwalls help define the space, incorporating natural stone creating a peaceful space for relaxation. Each space is carefully crafted to stand alone, yet weave holistically to help form a landscape as a greater part of the owner’s home.
